about amoreAmore Styles, established on February 1, 1990 by Brenda Broder has always been on the cutting edge of fashion and the community scene. We strongly believe in the American history of salon’s that they are a source of beauty, but also a source of information and community involvement. Amore is more than just a salon—we’re a business that is committed to giving back to our community. Beginning with Equal Protection Portland in 1991, Amore has positioned itself to be a resource for many non-profit and civil rights organizations to provide outreach. We have partnered with several organizations over the years to help raise money and awareness in our community. We believe that what is in your head is equally as important to what is on your head. We believe that it isn’t enough to only contribute money, but to contribute our time and resources to worthy causes that affect our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Some organizations the staff at Amore have contributed to:
These are just to name some of the organizations we have either raised money for or donated. The staff at Amore has coordinated cut-a-thons involving 7 salons to raise more than $10,000 in a day for charity more than once. This is a reflection of our commitment to making the world a better place by example. Our client base consists of all walks of life from bank presidents, business owners, students, mothers, fathers to the homeless whom we donate our services. One thing is for sure, you will never be bored and there is a pretty good chance that you will see someone you know when you step through the doors of Amore where love of people, love of style is always our motto. That’s Amore! |
